The Ibanez SR300EDX 4-string bass guitar is part of the renowned Ibanez SR Standard Series, celebrated for its lightweight, contoured bodies, fast, smooth necks, and perfectly matched electronics.
Equipped with PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups and custom Ibanez electronics, the SR300EDX delivers an enhanced tonal experience. The high-output PowerSpan Dual Coil (PDC) pickups produce a rich, harmonically detailed tone with dynamic expression. Exposed pole pieces strengthen the signal and enhance high-frequency response without compromising the low end.
The SR300EDX offers maximum tonal versatility through its three selectable modes, which work with a 3-band EQ and a coil tap switch. Tap Mode (single coil) provides a punchy, articulate sound. Series Mode (humbucking) delivers a warm, full-bodied tone. Power Tap Mode blends single-coil clarity with the fat low end of a humbucker.
The Accu-Cast B500 bridge features extra-wide string slots to accommodate heavy gauges, while its saddle design keeps strings securely in place for consistent performance. This design enhances string vibration transfer, producing a rich tone with lasting sustain.
