The all-mahogany body of the Amahi UK220C concert ukulele is both functional and attractive. It provides a full, rich sound compared to Spruce, which has a brighter tone.
Other features include a tortoise shell-style rosette and body binding, a bound 19-fret Mahogany neck, diecast tuners, and a satin poly finish.
Ukuleles commonly come in four sizes: soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone. The soprano often called "standard" in Hawaii, is the smallest, and the original size ukulele. The concert size was developed in the 1920s as an enhanced soprano, slightly larger and louder with a deeper tone.
