The Blackstar UNITY 120 bass amplifier, the result of extensive research and benchmarking against iconic references, was designed by bass players for bass players.
The Unity 120 Blackstar bass combo amp is ideal for playing almost any style of music, providing Classic, Modern, and Overdrive voicings to choose from:
- Classic - offers a tube-Inspired growl with vintage EQ
- Modern - offers high headroom dynamics and advanced EQ
- Overdrive – smooth, open overdrive with a harmonically rich bite
Additionally, the Overdrive Voice can be selected using an optional 2-button footswitch.
The built-in chorus and compressor are very practical for live use, eliminating the need for additional outboard gear and effects pedals. The 3-band EQ with a sweepable midrange offers precise control over bass, treble, and mid frequencies, allowing for detailed and flexible tone shaping
The Frequency control on the Blackstar U120 adjusts the center frequency affected by the Mid control, ranging from 200Hz to 2kHz. Note that if the Mid control is set to its center (neutral) position, sweeping the Frequency knob will have no audible effect.
